What the Vault is

The Vault by Enki Munene is a place to share anonymous stories about money, relationships, family and business, and to read and discuss other people's. It is run by Deenice Store, Nairobi.

When you share a story

• You confirm the story is true, that it's yours to share, and that it contains no real names.
• Free stories go live straight away. Phone numbers and M-Pesa codes are removed automatically, but names and other details are not — leave them out.
• We refuse or remove: anything involving minors; accusations of a crime against someone who can be identified; medical details about another person; and anything where a real person could be recognised from the details, even without a name.
• Your story may be featured — in our videos, on social media, or with a paid ending readers unlock — and the Vault earns money from it. Posting a story does not entitle you to a share of that money.
• Your WhatsApp number (paid options only) is used only to reach you about your story. It is never shown publicly or sold.

Verdict (KES 300) and Verdict + Media (KES 500)

• Enki reads your story and publishes it with his written verdict. Verdict + Media also lets you add screenshots and a voice note, which we crop, black out and voice-disguise before anything is published.
• A verdict does not include a video. Enki picks what becomes a video on merit; that is never for sale.
• A verdict is Enki's personal opinion. It is not counselling, therapy, or legal, medical or financial advice.
• There are a limited number each week. We aim to publish within about 3 days. If we can't publish your story (for example, it breaks the rules above), or we haven't delivered within 7 days, you get a full refund.

Consultations (KES 2,500)

• A 30-minute WhatsApp call with Enki about one specific decision you need to make. You get his opinion and a recommendation.
• Enki is a consultant, not a counsellor or therapist. A consultation is not counselling or therapy, and not legal, medical or financial advice.
• Enki calls twice at the booked time. If you don't pick up either call, the session counts as used and is not refunded. Need a different time? Tell us on WhatsApp at least 24 hours before and we'll move it. If we have to cancel, or a booking turns out to be something we can't help with, you get a full refund.

Reading, unlocks and tips

• Some stories show the first part free and the rest after a KES 30 unlock. An unlock opens that one story on that phone, for good, and is final once opened.
• “Buy Munene a Coffee” is a voluntary tip from KES 50. It doesn't buy anything and isn't refundable.
• All payments are by M-Pesa through Paystack, charged as “Hanglo”. They are separate from Hanglo app coins.

Discussion

Comments appear anonymously. Comments that expose, harass or spam are removed and the commenter blocked. Anyone can report a story or comment; heavily reported content is hidden until we review it.

Taking a story down

If a story is about you and you want it removed, email hanglo.labs@gmail.com with the story number. We review every request and can remove any story at our discretion.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by hand. Email us with your M-Pesa confirmation code and we'll sort it out.
